The most important part of using a wood bat is hitting the sweet spot. It isn’t like a metal/composite bat where you get pop and power almost no matter what. Miss it off the end or on the handle and the sting in your hands will let you know.

This bat helps you work on hitting the sweet spot of the bat. Its a little lighter and easier to swing, so you can focus primarily of barrel placement.
